Charlie's Eagle project beneficiary was Deerfield High School as a trail restoration project of a heavily used and largely neglected muddy and wet path in the wetlands area behind the high school connecting to Painter's Lake subdivision. Charlie planned and led the transformation of the path with geo-textile, base gravel, and a top layer of compacting gravel. This transformation allows for continued use of the trail and allows the wetlands to pass water through to either side of the trail. The Deerfield High School cross country team and many other students and local residents will benefit from this much needed improvement.
