Brian's Eagle Scout Project collected hundreds of pounds of clothing from various schools and businesses in Highland Park and Deerfield for people who were relocated from New Orleans, LA after Hurricane Katrina. He organized the collection, sorting, and assembling of hundreds of pounds of clothing. He arranged for the transportation and the distribution of this clothing for persons of all ages through PADS (Providing Advocacy, Dignity & Shelter) Lake County. This included cold weather clothing along with donations of gloves and scarves for those who had never experienced the cold weather of the Chicago area.
