Webelos Woods is designed to give Webelos Scouts and their parents a preview of the Boy Scouting experience.  The program reinforces Boy Scouting values, procedures, methods and skills.  It is an introduction to Boy Scouts being a “boy lead” program versus the “adult lead” program used in Cub Scouts.  Also, there is the thrill of camping in the outdoors at a Boy Scout style camp, which will foster a desire to continue Scouting.  All Webelos Scouts are invited to participate in Webelos Woods provided that their mom or dad (or an adult substitute) accompanies them.  Webelos without their parent/adult may attend for the day (not overnight) with their den leader.

Boy Scout troops arrive Friday, May 2.

Webelos and their parents should plan to arrive Saturday, May 3 between 11:00am and 12:00pm.

A schedule of events is located on the NEIC website, and an information packet for Webelos leaders and parents is available online too.
